Card Issuance

Wayforte Bank is a principal member of both Visa and MasterCard schemes and one of the largest issuers of prepaid cards in Europe, with over 6 million cards in issuance across 12 European countries. In addition to prepaid, we  operate credit, debit and virtual card programmes.

 

We have continued to develop the capabilities of our card programmes including adding bank account lite functionality to our prepaid programmes. Through relationships with Bottomline Technologies, AccessPay and our sponsor banks we have launched multiple prepaid programmes that provide cardholders with either Sort Code and Account Numbers (UK) or IBANs (SEPA) to enable them to make and receive payments using Bacs, Direct Debit and Faster Payments, or SEPA Credit Transfer and SEPA Direct Debt.
